Dr. Tara Hyun-Kyung Chung, Ph.D., is a scholar, spiritual guide and eco-feminist theologian whose work bridges feminist, interfaith and ecological perspectives. Based in New York City, she holds a Ph.D. from Union Theological Seminary and served as Professor of Interfaith Engagement and Ecumenical Theology, drawing on her experience as a Buddhist Dharma teacher and Christian theologian. Her research and practice span Asian women’s theology, Christian-Buddhist dialogue, ecological justice, and global peace-making, through teaching, writing and activism.
